Central® 235 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a 72mm wide, 375-foot kraft tape engineered for high-strength carton sealing. Fiberglass yarns bonded between kraft paper layers deliver exceptional tensile strength and resistance to splitting or tearing, even across carton corners and overlapping flaps where stress concentrates.
The patented starch-based adhesive activates on contact with water and forms a permanent, tamper-evident bond on corrugated fiberboard — sealed cartons cannot be reopened cleanly, making this tape well suited for e-commerce fulfillment, distribution centers, and manufacturing operations where shipment integrity and tamper evidence are critical requirements.
Fiberglass yarn separates cleanly during repulping, supporting recyclability of sealed corrugated cartons. The tape maintains adhesion across temperature extremes, handling climate-variable storage and cold-chain distribution without bond failure. Each case contains 8 rolls at approximately 18.74 lbs per case, and the tape is compatible with standard water-activated tape dispensers.
