The 1 mil polyimide film maintains dimensional stability under sustained heat while the silicone-based adhesive bonds securely and releases without contaminating surfaces.
This tape is a standard choice in electronics manufacturing for wave soldering and reflow masking, circuit board component protection, and semiconductor processing. Additional applications include powder coat masking, fiber optic cable bundling, and automotive sensor assembly — particularly in environments subject to vibration, mechanical stress, or chemical exposure.
